You want more of the right enquiries, not another advertising account to manage.
I help trades and service businesses use Google Ads with a clear plan, careful targeting and a focus on what happens after the click.
I’m Vicki, a Fractional Digital Strategist based in Jannali.
You work directly with me, from understanding your business to reviewing how your campaigns are performing. Based in the Sutherland Shire, I also work with service businesses beyond the local area.
Paying for clicks is easy. Making them count takes work.
Maybe you have tried Google Ads and watched the budget disappear without knowing what came back. Or you are ready to advertise, but do not want to spend your evenings trying to work out which settings matter.
The problem is not always the ad. It can be the searches it appears for, the area it targets, the page people land on or the way enquiries are measured.
My starting point is your business: the services you want to grow, the locations you can realistically cover and what a worthwhile enquiry looks like.
Local, hands-on Google Ads support
If you’re looking for Google Ads help in the Sutherland Shire, here’s how I work: you’ll speak with me directly, and I’m the one managing your campaigns from start to finish.
You don’t need to learn the advertising jargon. What matters is that you understand where your budget is going, what the campaign is working towards and what needs attention next. I want you to be part of that conversation.
Google Ads management with a clear purpose
Target the work you actually want
Campaign planning starts with your priority services and the areas you serve.
A landscaper looking for paving projects needs a different approach from a business looking for regular maintenance enquiries.
Choose searches with the right intent
I research the searches that fit your services and organise campaigns around what someone is trying to find.
I also review search terms and exclude irrelevant ones where appropriate, helping reduce spend on clicks that are unlikely to be useful.
Give people a relevant next step
Your ad should lead to a page that explains the service and makes it easy to enquire.
I review that journey and flag changes that could help. Any new page build or substantial website work is scoped separately before it starts.
Measure meaningful actions
Clicks alone do not tell you whether advertising is working.
I review how enquiry actions, such as form submissions or calls, can be measured and agree the tracking needed.
Your feedback on lead quality helps connect those actions with real business opportunities.
Keep reviewing and refining
Campaign management is ongoing work. I review performance, targeting, search terms and budget allocation, then make adjustments around your priorities.
I explain the findings in plain English, including where the results are not yet strong enough.
Start with Google Search, not every possible channel
For a service business, reaching people actively searching for help is often a sensible starting point.
I recommend the campaign approach around your goals and budget rather than switching on every format because it is available.
A straightforward way to get started
1. Talk through the business
Tell me which services you want more enquiries for, where you work and what you have tried so far. If you already run Google Ads, I can discuss what needs reviewing before recommending the next step.
2. Agree the plan and investment
I recommend the approach and explain the scope, management fee, advertising budget and any setup work. You know what is included before deciding whether to proceed.
3. Launch or improve, then review
Once the agreed foundations are ready, I set up or refine the campaigns and monitor performance. Your feedback matters too: which enquiries are useful, which are not and whether your priorities have changed.
What does Google Ads management cost?
There are two separate costs to consider: the fee for managing your campaigns and the advertising spend paid to Google. Setup, tracking or website work may also need to be allowed for, depending on your starting point.
I will explain the relevant pre-set package, what it includes and the proposed ad budget before you commit. A useful budget needs to reflect the services you are promoting, the locations you want to cover and the competition for those searches.
I would rather have an honest conversation about whether the budget can support a meaningful test than encourage you to spend without a clear plan.
Is this right for your business?
This is a good fit if you want to reach people looking for your services, can respond to enquiries and are willing to share feedback on the leads that come through.
It may not be the right first step if your website makes it difficult to enquire, you cannot take on more work or your budget would leave little room to test and improve. I will tell you if another priority needs attention first.
Questions before you get started
Do you only work with Sutherland Shire businesses?
No. I am based in Jannali and work with service businesses in the Shire and beyond. What matters is understanding where your customers are and the areas your business can genuinely serve.
Can you take over an existing Google Ads account?
I can review an existing account and recommend whether to improve the current setup or change the approach. The first step is understanding its structure, tracking and previous performance rather than assuming everything needs rebuilding.
How quickly will I get enquiries?
Ads can start reaching people once the campaign is approved and running, but that is not a promise of immediate enquiries. Results depend on demand, competition, budget, your offer and the page people land on. It takes time and useful data to judge what is working.
Is Google Ads better than SEO?
They do different jobs. Google Ads pays for advertising visibility, while SEO works on your visibility in unpaid search results over time. Either can be useful, and they can work together. The right starting point depends on your goals, budget and current website.
Do I need a new website or landing page?
Not necessarily. A relevant, clear service page may be enough to start. If there are barriers to making an enquiry, I will explain them and discuss any additional work before it is undertaken.
Do you guarantee leads or a particular return?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee how many customers an advertising campaign will bring. I focus on a clear plan, appropriate measurement and ongoing improvements, with honest conversations about performance.
What does PPC mean?
PPC means pay per click. It is an advertising model where you pay when someone clicks an ad. Google Search advertising commonly uses this model, but paying for a click does not mean that person will become a customer.
